Privacy Policy
Learn how information may be processed when you browse taxvie.com, choose optional analytics, contact Taxvie or use protected administration tools.
How Taxvie handles website information
Taxvie processes limited information needed to deliver, secure and support taxvie.com. Optional website analytics are collected only after consent and remain separate from information required for enquiries, security and administration.
This policy covers taxvie.com. Taxvie keeps its public website separate from secure product workspaces, and product-specific privacy information may apply inside individual Taxvie applications, including UK Filing.
Optional first-party website analytics
What optional analytics excludes
Taxvie does not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers on this website. Optional analytics does not include names, email addresses, precise location, contact-message text, company records, tax data or filing activity.
The analytics endpoint accepts only a small allowlist of website events and removes query strings from recorded routes. Visitor and session identifiers are hashed before analytics records are stored.
Essential service processing
Your analytics choice
Optional analytics remains off until you select Accept optional analytics. Rejecting optional analytics prevents measurement and removes the optional visitor cookie plus analytics session and campaign identifiers from the browser.
Taxvie remembers your choice for up to 180 days using a host-only cookie on the website where you made it. The choice is not automatically shared with ukfiling.taxvie.com. You can reopen Privacy choices at any time to change your decision.
Retention and safeguards
Consented raw analytics events are assigned a deletion date of no more than 180 days. Short-lived rate-limit records are assigned a deletion date of no more than two days.
Taxvie limits accepted event names and values, strips control characters and query strings, rate-limits submissions and excludes administration routes from optional analytics.
Contact and privacy requests
Contact support@taxvie.com if you have a privacy question or want to make a request concerning information you supplied to Taxvie. Include enough detail for Taxvie to identify the relevant enquiry or account, but do not send passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary taxpayer information.
Taxvie is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may provide rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
